How to install 3/4" Crushed Stone

Excavate
Strip topsoil to 6-10", with the depth set by traffic and the frost line in your area.

Spread the stone in 2-3 inch lifts and compact each lift with a plate compactor before adding the next.

Crown the top ~1/4" per foot toward the edges so water sheds.
