Great for grading and seed
Used 10 yards of compost mixed with topsoil to grade out a low spot where the lawn used to puddle, then seeded over it. Spread with a landscape rake and it settled nicely after the first good rain. Material was uniform and easy to move. Ordering by the yard online was straightforward and the pile landed exactly where I marked.

Fixed my clay yard
Our back yard is heavy clay and nothing wanted to grow. Tilled 3 yards of this compost into the top few inches across two garden beds and the difference was obvious within a couple of weeks, water actually soaks in now. Nice dark color, no trash or plastic bits in it. Delivery driver backed into a tight side yard without touching the fence.

Beds finally have life
Ordered 4 yards of compost for our raised beds and the two long borders along the fence. It came screened, dark and crumbly, smelled earthy rather than sour, and spread easily with a wheelbarrow and rake. Driver called about twenty minutes out and dropped it right on the tarp in the driveway. The tomatoes have never looked this good in August.
