    Contractor, base and bedding

I install pavers and retaining walls and buy screenings by the load. Took 12 tons for a driveway apron and two walkway jobs in the same week. It compacts well, screeds flat, and locks in once it is damp. Consistent gradation from truck to truck, which matters when you are laying pavers to a string line. Dispatch confirmed the drop spot the night before.

  2. Robin W.

    Between the flagstones

Filled the joints on a flagstone walk and topped a gravel path with stone dust. One ton was plenty for both. Swept it into the gaps, hosed it down, and it set up firm enough that weeds have not pushed through yet. Fine gray material, consistent, no big chunks. Our driveway is narrow with a fence on one side and the driver backed in without touching anything.
