Play area border
Put down 2 yards around the kids' swing set and along the side yard beds. Went on about three inches deep and covered more than I figured. Weeds have stayed down for a month and the black looks clean against our gray siding. Quick call from the driver before he pulled in, tidy drop, no mess in the street.

Beds look brand new
Ordered 5 yards of the black shredded mulch for the front foundation beds and the island around the mailbox. The color is a true deep black, not that gray charcoal look, and it really makes the hostas pop. Spread easy with a pitchfork and a wheelbarrow. Driver dropped it right at the end of the driveway on my tarp like I asked.
